QoL – Faster Checkpoints
Basics:
Reduces the time taken to pass through the Dogtown vehicle checkpoints by roughly 66%
Old scan time: 6 seconds + 3 seconds to be able to leave
New scan time: 2 seconds + 1 second to be able to leave
Notes:
The road barriers are removed in v1.0.0 as they had/have a hardcoded opening/closing speed that doesn’t play nice with the faster scan times.
I will add them back in with an update if I can solve the issue.
No changes are made for the pedestrian scans.
Installation?
Unzip the main zip into “Cyberpunk 2077” folder so that the FasterCheckpoints.archive ends up in the “Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod” folder
Uninstall?
Simply delete the FasterCheckpoints.archive file from the “Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod” folder.
Bugs / Limitations
Due to having to “remove” the road barriers this mod edits a world sector and as such the mod version needs to match the correct game version.
V1.0.0 works with game version 2.01
