Heavy Weapon Rebalance
Balances HMGs, LMGs, Projectile Launcher, and a few iconics to make them not just usable, but impactful weapons in the game.
List of changes:
HMGs and LMGs have had their scaling increased drastically. The DPS number listed on the weapon might start looking ridiculous, but after testing, this is what it takes for them to be on par with the other strong weapons in the game. This change DOES NOT affect NPCs.
All explosions have been buffed, and explosions that directly hit a target are much stronger. This change DOES affect NPCs. Keep in mind HMG’s have explosive bullets.
What this results in:
HMGs are one of the strongest weapons in the game.
Enemies with HMGs, turrets, etc. are much stronger due to the buff to explosive bullets. They won’t one shot you, but if you just sit there getting pounded by an HMG, you’ll be dead fairly quickly.
Projectile launcher now hits much harder. Now does much more damage than a single grenade, as it should be.
LMGs are much more powerful.
Iconic weapons with exploding bullets are more powerful. Previously, they just weren’t that strong. You could barely notice their bullets explode. Now that explosion effect feels more unique and powerful.
The final boss should feel a bit more final boss like.

Unzip and drop basegame_heavy_weapon_rebalance.archive into archive/pc/mod
Uninstallation:
Remove basegame_heavy_weapon_rebalance.archive from archive/pc/mod
