Immersive Food Vendors – Dogtown
Adds a little immersion to the [2] Dogtown food vendors you can buy food and drinks from, you can now actually have an animated snack when you visit them. The food does cost Eddies (most food in game costs 25 each, so they average to that overall but i tired to make the values match the ammount and quality of the item being eaten) and do give the same effect as the consumables (well fed).
What can I get to eat?
The options are limited to foods that I could fit with the hand/animation:
Sandwich
Burger
Sushi
Fruit (apple)
Pudding (a small sweet dessert thing)
Hot dog
What about Night City Interactions and the other Immersive Food Vendors?
NCI (which is still being developed) is a heavier, more complex, mod that is focused on stopping, sitting, leaning and taking time out of the normal gameplay loops. This (Food Vendors) mod is designed to be more lightweight and just add a small ammount to immersion to the existing vendor interactions.
Immersive Food Vendors is for the base game/NC vendors, this mod is just for the two found in Dogtown (both in the stadium)
The three mods are 100% compatible.
Installation?
Unzip the main zip into “Cyberpunk 2077” folder so that the .archive ends up in the “Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod” folder
The FoodProps.yaml should end up in the “Cyberpunk 2077\r6\tweaks” folder for both installs
(This is the same file as used in Immersive Food Vendors, so you may already have it)
Dependencies?
Make sure to also have TweakXL installed or the food items won’t be visible
Uninstall?
Make sure you save away from a Food Vendor (+20m should be plenty)
Remove the FoodProps.yaml (unless you are still using Immserive Food Vendors) from the “Cyberpunk 2077\r6\tweaks” folder
How to “use” the mod?
Simply visit any Food Vendor and choose their usual vendor/food option.
If you were already visiting/close to a Food Vendor before installing the mod then the prop probably wont appear at that vendor until you leave and return.
Languages
7 new options lines added, all localised for all supported game languages and should be correct
Compatibility risks:
Low.
The mod only edits scene files.
This mod is fully compatible with Night City Interactions, Immersive Rippers, Immersive Food Vendors, and Immersive Bartenders
Issues/limitations:
There’s only 2 eating animations for the player in the game currently, neither of them standing, so hopefully this is convincing enough!
I am yet to find a singular “bite”, or chewing sounds in game, so for now it’s a swallow, it works, but can be a little funny thinking of V swallowing some of these whole.
