Immersive Language – Japanese
Night City is a multicultural metropolis, it would make sense that not everyone speaks English; I mean everyone has real time translation implants anyway. Have you ever wanted to role play a foreigner to Night City and have your character recognized as such? This mod aims to enable that!
This mod swaps audio files in the English version of the game so that V and other Japanese characters in the game (i.e Takamura, Wakako, Hanako etc.) use Japanese voice lines from the official Japanese dub of the game. After all, why would a character whose primary language is Japanese, respond to V in English after being spoken to in their native tongue. All other NPCs will still use the English Voice lines and subtitles will all remain in English.
Install directions:
Unzip and drop folder into your game directory.
This mod utilizes all vanilla game files so there are no requirements. May conflict with other mods that change voiceover files. Only works with English language version.
